Welcome to the 2023-2024 Triangle Brain Bee!
Are you interested in learning about the brain? If so, you've come to the right place! We are a group of graduate students and postdocs at UNC Chapel Hill who are passionate about neuroscience and excited to share this with you!
We offer recorded lessons (linked on our website below) and monthly in-person neuroscience classes for high school students from October 2023 to February 2024. Monthly in-person classes will be in the evening on the first Wednesday of every month. The first class will be in the Chapel Hill Public Library, and we will announce the locations for the following classes each month. We will generally plan to meet in either the Chapel Hill Public Library or Durham Main Library.
In March 2024, students can participate in the Triangle Brain Bee competition for the chance to win cash prizes and the title of the local Brain Bee champion. But, it does not end there! As an international competition, the winner will advance to the National Brain Bee held in Spring 2024 (location TBD) and potentially to the international competition (location TBD)!
