Upstate SC MeshNet Survey
This is a preliminary survey to see if there are areas it is viable to deploy an Upstate MeshNet or HSMM Net. This survey is put on by members of the Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group (UCLUG).

Are you a licensed amateur radio operator? *
Only amateur radio operators can use channels 1 through 6 of of wireless "g" networks under amateur radio FCC Part 97 rules instead of standard FCC Part 15, which is lower power and unprivileged.
Do you have HSMM capable wifi routers, such as the Linksys WRT54(G/GL/GS) series? *
Do you have high gain directional wifi antennas, like a yagi or cantenna or dish? *
Do you have high power wifi equipment, like Engenius access points, Engenuis adapters, Alfa adapters, etc? *
Do you have the ability to install elevated equipment on your roof, your chimney, nearby trees, or on amateur radio masts/towers? *
If you answered yes to the previous question, please describe your options for elevated installation
