Fellowships and Fees
While we encourage participants to secure their own funding to cover the costs of the Breath of Life Institutes, the Advocates for Indigenous California Language Survival is able to offer Fellowships to linguistic partners that will cover most of the fees in cases where other funding is not available. Fellowships can cover the cost of a double room in the dorm (which includes breakfast), as well as the conference fee (which includes lunch each day and dinner on Wednesday evening). The Fellowships will not be able to cover the additional cost if you choose to rent a single dorm room ($130 extra for six nights or $155 for seven nights), nor will they cover the cost of parking ($90 for six nights or $105 for seven nights), dinners, or other personal expenses.
Will you be staying in the dorms? *
Will you arrive on Saturday, June 2, or Sunday, June 3? Activities will begin in the afternoon on Sunday, June 3. *
Will you need an overnight parking permit? This is necessary for participants who plan to bring a car and stay in the dorm. *
Can you, your institution, or another organization pay for your costs to attend Breath of Life? *
Would you, your institution, or another organization like to donate to the scholarship fund for participants who cannot afford to pay their own way? If so, a check can be made out to AICLS and sent to Advocates for Indigenous California Language Survival, P.O. Box 1668, Topanga, CA 90290 or contribute online at www.aicls.org.
