Brisbane Floods Community Aid
My office has launched a flood-aid program. If you need help with sourcing food, ice or other items, we can have a volunteer drop these off, where safe. We can also help with moving furniture or sourcing sandbags.

The Greens on Brisbane's south side are also assembling a team for clean up, so you can also register for clean up support, however this won’t be activated until safe - likely in the next few days.

My office at Stones Corner (2/409 Logan Road, Stones Corner) is open to anyone who needs power to charge their phone, snacks or just a place to hang out for the next bit.

Similarly, if you’re around West End - Amy MacMahon - Greens MP for South Brisbane office and has power and you can head there to charge your phone or other devices (1/90 Vulture Street, West End.)

EVACUATION AND SUPPORT CENTRE
There’s an evacuation centre set up at Sleeman Sports Complex, Cnr Old Cleveland Rd & Tilley Rd, Chandler. The centre has a capacity for 276 people and pets are welcome – apparently there is a specialist team to assist with pets.

POWER OUTAGES
On the inner southside there are power outages in West End, Highgate Hill, Hawthorne, Woolloongabba, Norman Park, Fairfield, Yeronga and South Brisbane - you can find more information here. Sadly, the latest update is that some of these may last for days: https://www.energex.com.au/home/power-outages/outage-finder

SANDBAGS
Brisbane City Council still has an operational depot at 9 Redfern Street, Morningside. Sandbags are free.

ROADS
