We are excited to announce our first INTERSECT RSE Workshop. Thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation, we are organizing a 1.5 day workshop to generate content for future INTERSECT-sponsored RSE bootcamps. For more details on the workshop, visit the workshop webpage:
https://intersect-training.github.io/workshop22/This workshop has two main goals:
1. Collaboratively generate (and curate) training topics and content for the INTERSECT RSE Bootcamps.
2. Foster collaboration and nurture RSE peer relationships within the community.
The workshop will be held on August 9-10, 2022 at Princeton University. We have funding available to cover the expenses for some participants. We are asking for individuals to use this form to express and interest and ability to attend the entirety of the workshop. If you are interested in the workshop but cannot attend or are unsure at this time, please fill out the form anyway. We will likely conduct future workshops and will keep a list of those that express interest but are not available this year. You can also suggest other potential attendees in the space at the bottom of the form.
Space and funding is limited. We are committed to ensuring a diverse group of workshop participants both in terms of traditional measures of diversity (e.g., race, gender, socioeconomic), domains (e.g., HPC, bioinformatics, digital humanities), and organizations (e.g., R1 institutions, national labs, industry).
This form will remain open until June 15, 2022.
