Attendance at all Gretna High School Band rehearsals, sectionals, and performances is mandatory
and is vital to the success of our program as well as its individual participants.

If you must miss a performance, complete this form no later than 2 weeks before the anticipated absence. If you must miss a rehearsal, arrive late, or leave early from a rehearsal, complete this form no later than one week before the anticipated absence. If you are absent due to unexpected illness or emergency, complete this form the day that you are absent. Unexcused absences may result in being sidelined for a marching band performance, being ineligible for a Varsity Band Letter, and completing an alternative assignment as well as making up the missed time. Only absences submitted here will be under consideration for excuse, except in cases of extreme emergency.
