Thank you for applying to Figma's EDU program. We look forward to reviewing details about your bootcamp. Please note review may take 2-4 weeks depending on volume. For any additional questions, please reach out to bootcamps@figma.com. 

Please note: If your bootcamp application is rejected, you will need to wait a minimum of 6 months to re-apply. Please read on for qualifications + disqualifications. 

Required qualifications for approval:

  1. Educational focus: Clear mission to teach design, tech, or creativity skills with Figma as a core part of the curriculum. 

  2. Structured course: Structured, curriculum-based instruction with a teacher or mentor-led model. 

  3. Legitimate classroom environment: Teaches genuine full- or part-time learners, not commercial teams seeking internal professional development.

  4. Transparency: Public website showing curriculum, instructors, admissions, and tuition.

  5. Non-commercial use: Figma is not used for client work, agency projects, or revenue generation.

  6. Minimum student count: At least 10 students per cohort.

Potential disqualifications:

  1. Self-directed, unstructured courses: Single-user courses with no teaching, mentorship or community components. 

  2. Independent tutoring: 1:1 or small group tutoring that is not part of a formalized program. 

  3. Trains commercial partners: Hosts one-off or continuous training for commercial clients seeking internal professional development, not full- or part-time learners. 

  4. Lack of authoritative proof: No evidence of bootcamp with a website or social media. Similarly, no curriculum, instructor info, or verifiable student activity.

  5. For-profit client work: Bootcamps acting as design agencies or offering services to clients.

  6. Misuse of EDU access: History of sharing accounts, using EDU licenses commercially, or reselling.
