Liability and Responsibility:
Please carefully read and understand the following information. By reserving a spot on this trip, or accepting tickets or documents, you consent and agree, personally and on behalf of your dependents, heirs, and administrators, to the following terms and conditions. PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. and its employees, agents, representatives, shareholders, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, and assigns (collectively referred to as “PEP”) do not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, airline, vessel, or other transportation companies, guides or guide services, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service or entertainment providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, PEP is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity or of any other third party. PEP is not responsible whatsoever, in whole or part, and you, personally and on behalf of your dependents, heirs, and administrators release and hold PEP harmless from liability, for any occurrences, including but not limited to any delay, loss, accident, personal injury, illness or death, medical expenses, or property damage occasioned by fault or negligence of any person, employee, or company entrusted with the performance of such services, from whatever cause, to you or your dependents, arising out of or related to this agreement and/or PEP’s services. Because an activity is included in your program fee does not imply that it’s obligatory to participate, and so understand that you are participating in each activity voluntarily and at your own risk. As a participant you understand that all travel contains some risks that may be caused by forces of nature, or negligence, or actions of others. You agree on behalf of your dependents, heirs, and administrators to release and hold PEP harmless from any and all liabilities, expenses, or inconveniences caused by late arrivals, departures, or any changes of schedule beyond our control, or the loss of or damage to your camera, other electronic equipment, accessories, luggage, money, jewelry, valuables, or other belongings whatsoever. Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between you and your airline. You are solely responsible for obtaining, scheduling, and arranging your own flight. For any reason beyond our control, such as, but not limited to, Force Majeure or governmental actions, PEP shall have the right to cancel the program and refund all monies to the participant. Such refund shall be the sole measure of any damages for and in any claim against PEP, its officers, employees, or agents by you, your dependents, heirs, or administrators. We reserve the right to make changes to the program with or without notice that might be necessary based on changing schedules. PEP reserves the right to accept, decline or remove any person from the program at any time, without refund, who PEP deems to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in the activities or for behavior that is deemed to be disruptive to the group or program. Any claim or dispute by you, your dependents, heirs, or administrator against PEP arising out of or relating to this agreement and/or PEP’s services shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules then in effect and adapted by the American Arbitration Association, which arbitration shall take place in the County of Winnebago, State of Illinois. A request for arbitration must be filed within one month from the participant’s scheduled departure.
For full details please refer to our program itinerary. Only meals, accommodations, activities and ground transportation as indicated in the itinerary, are included. Unless otherwise noted, flights to/from our tour destination(s) are not included in the program and must be arranged by participant. Cost does not include passport or visa fees, travel insurance or items of a personal nature such as beverages/snacks, Internet access fees, laundry fees, beverages, etc. Trip requires a minimum of 6 participants (maximum 11) and is limited to those 21 years of age or older. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the number of participants by 2 on any PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. tour.
To allow for any unexpected contingencies, all participants are strongly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance. One company to try is Travel Insured International (
) at 800-243-3174. One other is Squaremouth (
) where you'll have many choices, but also do your own research. Please contact them directly for more information about coverage and quotes as PhotoEnrichment Adventures has no affiliation with these or any other travel insurance vendors.
PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. and Ralph Velasco reserve the right, and participant gives us permission, to use photographs and/or video or other content of him or her taken during the trip for promotional and publicity purposes.
The cost for this 14-day/13-night program, per person in Double Occupancy, is: $3,999. For Single Occupancy add $599 per person. Single occupancy is strictly limited. Although we make every effort to keep prices firm, exchange rates can fluctuate widely, so trip pricing is subject to change. Program rate is based on current airfare pricing for included internal flights, but could increase due to changes in airfares. Participant understands that he/she will be responsible for increases charged to PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc., if any, although this has never happened.
When directed by PEP administrators, please arrange your Ha Noi (HAN)-bound flight to arrive on or before November 27th, the program start date. Homebound flights after the tour may be arranged to leave Sai Gon (SGN) on December 10th, the last day of the tour, at any time. You are responsible for obtaining, scheduling, and arranging your own flights. IMPORTANT: PLEASE DON'T MAKE ANY NON-REFUNDABLE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS UNTIL GIVEN CONFIRMATION BY PHOTOENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, INC. TO DO SO.
A deposit of $750 per person is due in order to reserve a spot on this tour ($250 of this deposit is non-refundable). We work on a first come, first served basis, and only those participants providing a scanned passport signature page (must not expire within 6 months of return date), and completed documentation will be accepted to the program.
Full payment is due by July 26, 2017. Your trip is confirmed only after having paid in full and having received confirmation from PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. administrators.
Credit card payments via PayPal are accepted (at no additional fee, please e-mail ralph@PhotoEnrichment.com to request an invoice). We can also accept Bank-to-Bank transfers, which are usually free between bank accounts (see Reservation Form for details).
Cancellations received via e-mail prior to 120 days before departure, will be refunded all monies less a $250 administration fee, plus PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. costs, as well as fees charged by third party suppliers included in the tour, if any. If cancellation is received between 60-119 days, refund will be 50 percent of total tour cost, minus PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. costs, as well as fees charged by third party suppliers included in the tour, if any. For cancellations made less than 59 days prior to departure all trip fees are forfeited. All cancellation notifications must be received and confirmed in writing by dated e-mail. In the unlikely event we have to cancel a trip a full refund of all monies paid to PhotoEnrichment Programs, Inc. will be provided. As stated above, such refund shall be the sole measure of damages. PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE TO PROTECT AGAINST UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THAT MAY CAUSE YOU TO CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION.
