Thank you for your interest in joining Dartmouth CoFIRED. This is an application to become an Executive Committee member for 18F.

All positions are open to all classes. The current executive board is comprised of the following members:

The Co-Director of Resource (DoR) maintains all necessary resources for the success of undocumented students at Dartmouth, and is the source of information and guidance. The Co-Director of Resources duties include researching scholarships opportunities for undocumented students, keeping track of current immigration policies, laws, and other political related matters relevant to immigration reform, and adding this information to the CoFIRED website. The Alliance Directors serve as liaisons between the organization, campus, and the community at large. This entails attending and organizing meetings with other organizations on campus, in the upper valley, or at other colleges.

The General member position is will provide assistance to all other board positions, learn the duties of all the positions, and help update and maintain the CoFIRED website. This position is a great position for students who have not served on an executive board before and want to gain experience in each position before running for a specific one.

Your application will be reviewed by the current Dartmouth CoFIRED board. Only undergraduate students may serve on the Executive Committee.

Generally, the time commitment for CoFIRED will be 2 hours (depending on the position) per week and meetings last about 60-90 min. On rare occasions, we will meet for 2 hours, no more than that. We meet every week at a time most convenient for all members of the executive board. The 2017-2018 CoFIRED Advisor is Professor Douglas Moody.
