The Roadies Crew

No performer is an island. Fleetwood Mac is just a band without their crew to run everything from lights to merch.

Roadies are dedicated to amplifying the voices of girls and gender-expansive youth from the idea stage to the actual stage. The Roadies work happens months in advance of Power Week to after the crowd goes home.

The Roadies Crew includes our DUDE CREW- the very best of men. It's important for girls to see men in our community playing a supportive role in their success.

"Girls Rock!" isn't just a saying, but a community-building force for good: music, mentorship and love.

Our volunteers are e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g., so thanks for being a Roadie.

******************** CAMP LOAD-IN

SUNDAY, JULY 14 from 10am-6pm @ Allendale Equity & Justice Center

Gear building, tuning, instrument prep, cleaning, decor and preparing all camp spaces for rock n' roll magic.

******************* CONCERT DAY CREW

SATURDAY, JULY 20: Set-Up (10am-2pm) Concert (5pm-9pm) Break-down (8pm-11pm) @ Jannus Live

Major event set-up & build, load-in, staffing all stations, and break-down*.

* We LOVE our break down crew, because our camp volunteers are exhausted by concert day and it's great to have fresh muscle for the bitter end break down. <3

Most of this work is needed in June-July, but we have year-round committees, too!

STREET TEAM

Flexible hours during June 20-July 13, willingness to distribute flyers to local businesses and run errands if needed. Must know the town, generally speaking, live locally and be able to rep GRSP.

SILENT AUCTION

Donate (or support donation requests for) unique experiences, tickets, restaurant and service gift cards, vacations, local products. Let us know if you have items to donate or if you're willing to conduct an ask on behalf of GRSP.

CAMP LOAD-IN

I can support on Sunday, July 14 to prepare Allendale for rock camp magic. Set-up classrooms, load equipment, decorate, clean, and prep all spaces for camp magic.

CAMP BREAK-DOWN

I can support on Friday, July 19 (afternoon-evening) at Allendale to clear classrooms, pack up equipment, load the moving truck, clean, ensure the campus is left better than we found it.

CONCERT DAY: SET-UP / CREW / BREAK-DOWN

I can support concert day Sat. July 20 at Jannus. Set- up: unload truck, set up tables, chairs, tents, VIP section, crafts, hang banners, install art ops, etc. Break-down: all that in reverse order. ***After a week of camp our volunteer crew will be exhausted. The 8:30p-10:30p shift is a critical need for those that are available.***

Concert Crew shift is during the concert: check-in, merch, art stations, runner, silent auction, etc.

I am at least 18 years of age or will be by the time of GRSP camp.

Every single one of our volunteers are role models for our campers and represent Girls Rock St. Pete.

GRSP has a zero tolerance policy for harassment (of any nature), bullying, hate speech, and discrimination.
