Financial support is available to cover costs associated with participating in CES-NCC professional development events including training, webinars, conferences, the Annual Learning Event (ALE) and the Essential Skills Series. The aim is to make participation more accessible for those who might otherwise struggle to participate due to financial constraints. Applications will be considered from any individual CES member. Successful applicants will be reimbursed 80% of an event’s registration fees. Funding is up to $1,000 per person over a year.
Applicants must complete this form at least one week before the event in order to be considered. Applications will be considered on a first-come basis and will be accepted and reviewed until all funding for that year has been disbursed. First-time applicants as well as first-time participants will be given priority.
The review committee includes the VP REDIAS and the two VPs of Professional Development.
Successful applicants will need to submit receipts in order to be reimbursed, and will be asked to complete a post-event survey related to the event they attended, as applicable. If you have any questions or concerns, please email cesnccboard@gmail.com.
