Junior Script Lab is a 6-week screenwriting class for youth between the ages of 14 and 16. Taught by Bronx screenwriters, the class will give the children the tools to express their vision of the world and improve their literacy development in a fun atmosphere.
The Bronx Filmmakers Collective, also known as TBxF, is dedicated to fostering a thriving film community in the Bronx. We offer introductory film education to the local community and advanced education and support to established filmmakers in the Bronx. Our mission is to enrich the vibrant arts landscape of the Bronx by encouraging filmmakers to produce innovative works, supporting and endorsing their creations, and presenting a multifaceted portrayal of the Bronx that goes beyond the usual media stereotypes.
Classes will be held at The Bronx Filmmakers Space in BxArts Factory,

NOTE: After submitting this application, we will contact you to arrange an in person meeting with you, your child and our staff at our office in the Melrose neighborhood. This in-person meeting is a requirement before acceptance into the program.
