Broward Reads for the Record 2017 (ECE Providers and Private Schools Registration)

Read for the Record Day is 10-19-17!

As part of Jumpstart's national campaign, Broward will be joining millions of readers across the nation in reading the book Quackers by Liz Wong on October 19, 2017. Guest Readers
BCPS and Hands-On Broward will be recruiting guest readers throughout Broward County and will communicate directly with interested schools and centers as opportunities become available. Guest readers will be scheduled to visit schools between 8:30 AM -10:30 AM on October 19.

Schools will be provided a sign in sheet in the packet with the books to record guest reader attendance and will be asked to submit to Hands On Broward. All participating readers, including community and school guests, classroom teachers, administrators, and additional school personnel who read Quackers to students will be asked to sign in as volunteers in support of Hands On Broward. We want to make sure to capture ALL READERS (including your staff and YOU) in support of the BIG day and Hands on Broward.

NOTE: If you request guest readers PLEASE be prepared to receive them on 10-19-17. Welcome them to your school and make sure to find them a place to read in support of your early literacy goals. Please do not turn away guest readers. Find a place for them to read! :)

Are you interested in hosting guest readers at your school/center on 10-19-17?
If yes, how many Guest Readers would you be interested in hosting on 10-19-17?
NOTE: BCPS and Hands-On Broward will make every attempt to match guest readers with interested schools.
If you are securing your own guest readers at your site, please share details below so we can include your efforts with our overall Broward results. Please have all guest readers sign the log provided with your materials.
