Riding the Wave of Change 2020 - Call for Presentations
May 7 & 8, 2020
Lakeview Resort & Conference Center
The Riding the Wave Conference hosts workshops for teachers who use technology in their classrooms. Proposals for workshops should showcase the creative and innovative use of technology in your instructional practice. Workshops are single sessions (75 minutes in length) and will be presented twice during the conference.
The theme this year is a vision for the future. We want to hear about the ways that technology is currently impacting our classrooms and schools and what that might look like in the years to come. We are looking for presentations on the following topics: Makerspaces, global collaboration, Coding for Kids, Gamification, Google Classroom and the G-Suite, Office 365 for the classroom, or other creative and innovative uses of technology in your classroom practice.
Please note that labs of computers will not be available for workshops at the Lakeview Resort. Presenters will have access to either a wired or wireless Internet connection and a data projector with speakers. If you want a hands-on workshop you need to request that people bring their own device and specify software/apps that need to be pre-installed.
The deadline for proposals is November 15th, 2019.
