La Follette Booster Club Raffle Guidelines & Form
The La Follette High School (LHS) Booster Club owns the Raffle License, which is renewed annually. If you intend to conduct a raffle, under the "umbrella" of the LHS Booster Club Raffle License, you must provide the LHS Booster Club with the information below. Any group wanting to participate in the 50/50 raffle must request the desired event in writing to the Booster Club Board. The events will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, with the Board and the Athletic Director, having final say on how many events any group can be part of during a year.
Before conducting your raffle: Request from the Booster Club by completing the form below the raffle you are interested in conducting. This will help us to avoid having conflicting raffles going on at the same event, at the same time. Review the Raffle Fact Sheet (PDF), which can be found on the Resources page of the La Follette Booster Club website (lafolletteboosters.org).
Please note: 50/50 Raffles will give 50% of the collected monies to the raffle winner and 50% to your organization. (All cash will be collected by the Booster Club and check will be issued to your organization. The Booster Club will provide $25 start-up cash, which will be removed prior to dividing profits.)
The winner: The winning ticket will be drawn and retained by the Booster Club representative. The number will be provided to the announcer in order to contact the winner. The winnings will be dispersed when the matching ticket is presented to the Booster Club representative.
After conducting your raffle: Report the following information to the LHS Club Treasurer. (May be placed in the Booster Club mailbox in the Athletic Office.)
