There are a million ways to help with STLDW!
Ambassadors are responsible for getting up on "stage" before each event they're available for and saying thank you to attendees, thanking sponsors, and addressing any other housekeeping. They'll be given a script to follow.
Week-of volunteering only requires you to help us the week of October 5-9 2026. We'll keep in communication with you but we won't be reaching out for final scheduling until closer to.
Content capturers should have some background in photography or videography. They'll be responsible for high quality photo/video throughout the week. They will, of course, be credited for any photo/video used.
Social media week-of volunteers will be responsible for helping to share content in real-time for use in primarily in stories. Some might be also given the opportunity to login to the DW account to monitor social channels for reshare, comment, and other opportunities.
If you want to organize an event or sponsor, you will be sent a follow-up email with more details on what the process for either or both of those are.
