The Vall Salina e-Journal is a publication founded in Cardona by the IREC. It is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to the Anthropology of Salt, which explores knowledge derived from the intersection of various disciplines related to salt (history, geography, archaeology, mining, geology, toponymy...) to explore its relationship—whether economic, social, or religious—with humanity and human knowledge.

The Vall Salina e-Journal is IREC's contribution to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by reducing barriers to information, especially those of a scientific nature.
