Palmer Public Library - New Circulation Policies Survey
Based on the feedback we received for last year-s Fine-Free Summer promotion, the staff of the Palmer Public Library has revised the library's circulation policies, and we'd like to know what you think of the new rules. Use the space on the next page to share your thoughts about any or all of the policy changes. We'll take your responses into consideration as we continue to evaluate our practices in the future.

Here's what we changed:

NO FINES FOR KIDS AND TEENS
Children and teens under age 18 will not accrue fines on any items owned by the Palmer Public Library. Items from our Youth or Young Adult collections also will not accrue fines, regardless of the borrower’s age.

LOWER FINES FOR MOVIES AND SPEED READS
Overdue fines on DVDs, Blu-Rays, TV series, Wii games, and Speed Reads have been reduced from $1.00 per day to $.50 per day, up to a maximum of $2.50.

LONGER LOANS FOR VIDEO GAMES AND TV SERIES
Video games and TV series now circulate for two weeks instead of one.
