Youth Mental Health First Aid- Virtual Training
Thank you for your interest in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
The virtual training will include content on trauma, addiction, and self-care. YMHFA will include content applicable for adults working with elementary-age children, including content on the impact of social media. The content is gender-neutral and culturally relevant.
As First Aiders, you will be required to complete a 2-hour self-paced class, and then participate in a 5-hour (including breaks) instructor led class using video conferencing technology. The self-paced class must be completed in order to access the live class. Participants will be required to complete the pre-work four days prior to the session. Participants will receive an email from instructor on how to access pre-work and due date for the work. There will also be a email from the National Council of Mental Wellbeing with access information.
We are limited to 30 participants. Sign up today to reserve your spot. We are offering two dates, please pick the one that works best for you. If the session is full we will contact you and let you know that we have added you to a waiting list and you will also be notified first of any upcoming sessions. Thank you so much
