Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2021 Jack Attack Regional Tournament, August 27-29!

We are so excited to have you join us. Please read the information below and check the date or dates you plan on volunteering. Our attending athletes appreciate your dedication to helping them reach their goals and we look forward to having you join us!!

Basic Event Details:
Franklin Park Adventure Center 1755 E Broad St Columbus, Oh 43203

Referee Clinic: Friday August 27, 2021 4-7 pm
Competition: Saturday August 28, 2021 9-6pm & Sunday August 29, 2021 9-4pm

Estimated Volunteer needs: min 40 per day; min 24 per shift
Volunteer Hours: (Any that can commit for the full day would be preferred)

Tournament Volunteer Tasks:
Saturday Registration: athlete check in, waiver, lunch ticket, give away item/goodie bag (if we are providing) (3-4 ppl per) (730-845am)
Saturday Equipment Check: Ball roll, size check, weigh in (4 ppl) (745-845am)

Saturday/Sunday Call room: check in, court assignments (2ppl per shift) (9am-last game of day)
Saturday/Sunday On court assistants: scoring, timer, line judge (14 potentially per shift) (9am-last game of day)
Saturday/Sunday Referee: on court (6-10 per shift) (830-last game of day)
It would be best to have 10-12 referees commit both days, all day, with rotations for breaks.
Volunteer who wish to ref should attend ref clinic.
Saturday/Sunday Lunch: Assist Serving lunch, drinks (2ppl per day) (11am-1230pm)

Sunday Tear Down: Assist in tape removal (4-6ppl) (4-430pm)

Attire:
Athletic wear, comfortable shoes as could be on feet throughout shift/day
Mask’s Recommended but not required per City and CDC guidelines.
