The Femme Folk Workshop is a half-day retreat designed to provide a safe and supportive space for female and femme folk musicians to share in the joy of both traditional and contemporary folk songs. The workshop will focus on fostering connection, promoting mutual support, and celebrating the contributions of Women, Non-Binary and Femme artists to the folk music tradition.
This is a closed event specifically for Femme people, Women and Non-Binary people who are musicians, or are beginning on their musical journey within the folk genre.
If you are just beginning or are not currently working in the folk space but are interested, you are welcome to join us!
This event is casually hosted by Sadie Skinner, supported by the Helen Creighton Folklore Society.
