Northeast Indigenous Artist Holiday Market
A Facebook virtual market event.
Coordinated by the Aquinnah Cultural Center (ACC) and Northeast Indigenous Arts Alliance (NIAA)



WHAT IS THE NORTHEAST INDIGENOUS ARTIST HOLIDAY MARKET?
This is a virtual market utilizing the Facebook group "Northeast Indigenous Artist Holiday Market" as a platform. It was created by the ACC and NIAA to help support Indigenous artists in a safe, socially distant manner.

HOW DOES THE MARKET WORK?
Indigenous artists from the Northeast that would like to participate will fill out the form below and pay a $10 participation fee. Upon confirmation of application and payment, an album will be created for each artist to upload photos of their artwork. Artists are also welcome to post photos artwork for sale or links to their websites on the Facebook page as often as they would like during the two weeks of the market.

Sales will begin on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 9:00am EST and conclude on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:59pm EST.

HOW DO PURCHASES WORK?
Artists are responsible for completing their own transactions. Buyers will comment on items posted by artists in order to purchase. Payment method will be agreed upon (Paypal, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Square, check, etc) and upon receiving payment, Artist will ship the item or arrange for safe local pickup. This page will be a welcoming and positive space for artists and buyers! The ACC and NIAA will promote and provide advertising to attract buyers and anyone can share the Facebook group to invite buyers. All are welcome to join the page to purchase!


VIRTUAL MARKET GUIDELINES:
1) Artists may only post items for sale that they have personally created.
2) Buyer and Artist will work out payment and shipping/local pick up arrangements. The Admin, ACC and NIAA are not responsible for any refunds or disputes.
3) Please communicate clearly with buyers about sales and shipping expectations. Please provide tracking information for purchases.
4) The page ADMIN reserves the right to approve or deny any posts that are deemed inappropriate or to remove any participant for disrespectful language/behavior.
