The group will meet on Marina Green in San Francisco at 9:30am (easily mappable on Google Maps) and walk down to the Golden Gate bridge, then up and over it. This walk to the observation area on the north side of the bridge is about 3 miles (one way).

The walk is flat except getting up and on to the bridge which is a steep climb that lasts about 10 to 15 minutes or so. There may be an optional section at the end of descending down a hill to Sausalito.

The hike will end on the grass at Crissy Field, where we can have a nice, early lunch/snack before returning to our cars and heading home.

Please bring layers of clothing, water, food and whatever else you are comfortable walking with (hats, sunscreen, etc).
