Please read through and fill out this form if you or your organization are interested in a custom order from RAI.

RAI has undergone the rigorous process of earning the Nest Seal of Ethical Handicraft which ensures that RAI artisans have a safe and equitable work environment, even as they work from their homes. RAI uses the Time Motion Study Calculator, an ethical labor best practice; a sample is made by three artisans, the time is averaged, and an equitable wage for producing one piece is objectively determined.

Pre-Production Phase
Please be advised that the $500 pre-production fee is non-refundable for up to 7 hours of work. After that pre-production work will be charged at $75/hr. rate. The pre-production phase includes: pattern making, fabric sourcing, sample making, and modifications within the scope of the project. Payment must be received before proceeding with pre-production sample making.

Production Costing
RAI follows the City of Seattle’s wage mandate and prioritizes paying artisans a living wage. Therefore, RAI's minimum order quantity (MOQ) needs to be $5,000 and greater to go into production (not including the $500 pre-production fee). RAI’s production prices are based on the average time it takes our artisans to make one unit at a time.
