We are excited to share our vision for the future of Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB) and invite you to be a part of our journey. Over the next three years, our primary focus will be on laying the foundation for our flagship program, "On My Block," and building the capacity of KLCB to better serve our community.

"On My Block" is designed to foster community engagement, enhance public safety, and promote neighborhood pride. By empowering residents to take an active role in improving their surroundings, we believe we can create a more vibrant, connected, and safe Lake Como neighborhood.

Keep Lake Como Beautiful (KLCB) is proudly owned and operated by the Proof of Life Community Development Corporation (PLCDC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This partnership enables us to effectively mobilize resources and foster community development specifically for Lake Como. PLCDC's official recognition by the IRS allows us to receive tax-deductible donations and grants, underscoring our commitment to transparency and public trust.

To achieve our goals, we need your support. In-kind donations of office supplies and equipment, promotional and marketing materials, volunteer support, event support, cleaning and landscaping supplies, transportation and logistics, community outreach resources, and financial management tools will be crucial in helping us build a strong foundation and ensure the success of our initiatives.

When making an in-kind donation to the "On My Block" program, please make the donation in the name of Proof of Life Community Development Corporation (PLCDC). This ensures that your contributions are properly recognized and that you can benefit from tax deductions associated with donating to a 501(c)(3) organization.

Your contributions will not only help us get started but also enable us to support Keep Lake Como Beautiful initiatives aimed at enhancing public safety and the overall quality of life in the Como neighborhood. These initiatives include but are not limited to litter clean-ups, illegal dumping prevention, crime reduction, and community beautification projects.
