Thank you for your interest in Poway Home Education Program (PHEP), an independent study learning pathway. The TK-5 Poway Home Education Program is designed to support families who wish to home school their children.

The Home Education Program provides each family with the PUSD district adopted curriculum and materials. A family member and student are required to meet once a week with an assigned PUSD teacher to review assigned work.

Please note potential moves out of Poway Home Education- If there comes a time when you wish to leave Home Education and return to a brick and mortar school site, it will be based on seat availability at your school of residence. If your school of residence does not have an open seat in the respective grade level you will be placed at another PUSD site with seat availability. You must complete a withdrawal questionnaire with PHEP to initiate a transfer request.
