What is a poster session? A poster session is like a gallery walk, not an individual presentation. You present your lesson plan/idea on a poster, computer, or some other medium that will convey your ideas as people "walk by". You will remain with your poster in order to explain and answer questions. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is given by groups of 10-12 pre-service educators.
Presenters will be provided a table and are asked to bring handouts and/or provide on-line access to materials presented.
All presenters, including pre-service educators, must register for the conference. Students are offered a deeply discounted rate for the conference. All pre-service educators are encouraged to apply for the Pre-service Educator Conference scholarship. Those presenting posters sessions will be given extra consideration for scholarships.
