ASTOR MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA PROGRAM

Mission of the Astor Theatre Program 

  • Create a supportive enriching environment, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and personal responsibility.  
  • Provide students with an understanding of basic theater, working to increase their confidence, self-expression skills, and public speaking abilities.
  • Increase community collaboration opportunities between youth, parents, and teachers.

Excited to have your student join this years Astor Drama Program!  

Fall Class Times:
Mondays & Wednesdays | 3:30 - 5:00 pm
September 21st - November 21st 2025


FINAL PERFORMANCE: November 21st
Astor School: 5601 N. Yale Street
Cost: Sliding Scale $150-$200
Register by October 1st, 2025

A note about the fee:  The PTSO is unable to underwrite the drama program and asked that I move to a fee for services model per semester - similar to other after school programs.  If the cost of the program is a barrier to participation, please contact the Astor School front desk and they will direct you to PTSO for tuition support.  

Please make checks payable to Jenni Russell and delivered to first day of class.
