Peace Camp Registration 2018
Everyday—and in so many ways—we are reminded that we live in a world of conflict. Help your child(ren) explore ideas of negotiating a world that is challenging in terms of conflict, discrimination, and esteem…. by sending them to First UU’s Peace Camp. We will explore ideas of peace-making “Within, Among, and Between.” In the span of a week, children will experience many peaceful practices, including developing a sense of community, problem-solving, meditating, singing, walking in nature, and more. In these ways, our “peace kids” will start to build their own paths towards peaceful living.

Please enter the information for each Peace Kid in a separate form.

This year, Peace Camp will be doing a session for kids ages 5-7 the first week, July 30th-August 3rd.
Peace Camp will do the second session for kids ages 8-11 the second week, August 6th-10th.
Camp both weeks meets from 9:00am-12:00pm.

EDIT: The first week of Peace Camp is currently full. If you would like to get on a waiting list, please contact Rev. Lane Campbell at

This switch is to allow developmentally-appropriate games and activities for each age group. There has been quite a challenge creating programs for a broad span. This will allow Peace Camp Director, Jen Bojanowski, to design programming appropriate to that particular age group.

By July 20th, 2018, please send a donation for each child in the amount of $25 to $50 to Peace Camp, First UU Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd., Columbus, OH 43214. Please make checks out to First UU Church and write "Peace Camp" in the memo line.
