2015 3rd Annual National Vigil to #EndGunViolence (Bus Travelers)

The Newtown Action Alliance and The Newtown Foundation are planning a series of events in Washington D.C. in December leading up to the 3rd anniversary of the Sandy Hook tragedy and in honor of all gun violence victims and survivors. We invite you to join us to participate in the events outlined below.

Tentative Schedule (Subject to change):

12/9/2015 WEDNESDAY
6:00 AM Bus departure from Newtown & others fly-in/train-in
12:00 PM Arrive in D.C. and lunch at St Marks Episcopal Church
1:30 PM Letter delivery & congressional meetings
5:00 PM Dinner at St Marks Episcopal Church
7:00 PM 3rd Annual National Vigil to #EndGunViolence at St Marks Episcopal Church
8:30 PM After-vigil reception at St Marks Episcopal Church
10:00 PM Bus to hotel

12/10/2015 THURSDAY
7:00 AM Breakfast near the hotel
8:00 AM Walk/Bus to Capitol Building
10:00 AM Press Conference-Capitol Building
TBD: Act of Kindness: Book Delivery to Savoy Elementary School
12:00 PM Lunch at St Marks Episcopal Church
1:00 PM Letter delivery & congressional meetings
5:00 PM Bus departure to Newtown & others travel back home

We are fundraising to offer financial assistance to immediate family members of victims and survivors of gun violence who would like to attend the National Vigil and participate in other planned events. Before you register, please be certain that you are able to join us and participate in the events.

Registration is required for each person attending. If you have others accompanying you, please reload this form when you are finished and complete the form for each participant.

To keep costs down, we are recommending that anyone from Newtown or Connecticut area should travel with us on the chartered bus. If you are NOT traveling on the chartered bus from Newtown, Connecticut then please use this registration form instead:
