Event Description: Teams of 4-6 high school students compete in a 1/2 day event and are tested on crop agronomics, pest ID, and larger picture questions about crop production. The contest is an outdoor hands-on event, that will follow safety guidelines and restrictions. Teams that place in the top 3 spots receive cash prizes of up to $500, and the winner of each state crop scouting competition also gets to go to the regional crop scouting competition and compete against the winners from the other state competitions.
