TAP Network Partners and Members Pre-Registration Information for Rome Pre-HLPF SDG16 Conference
Please use this form to send the TAP Network your information submitted to UNDESA for Pre-Registering to attend the Pre-HLPF SDG16 Conference in preparation for the 2019 HLPF, to be held from 27-29 May in Rome, Italy. You can find more information, including an OFFICIAL PRE-REGISTRATION LINK on the UNDESA website here: https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/index.php?page=view&type=13&nr=3060&menu=1634

This form is a supplemental form to the OFFICIAL pre-registration form for the conference from UNDESA, which you can find above and below. This form is intended for us to collect all of the TAP Partners and Members who have applied to attend this conference, so we can collectively advocate for your inclusion in this important opportunity. Given that space and participation will be very limited, TAP will utilize our connections with our UN partners to recommend (speakers and participants at the conference) all of the individuals and organizations that submit their information to us via this form.

Given the tight turnaround times for the planning of this conference, we would ask that you 1) OFFICIALLY apply to attend the conference and 2) send us your information via this form ASAP so we can have this information available to us as we continue to have ongoing discussions with UN agencies around stakeholder engagement and speakers for sessions of this Conference. However, the official deadline for submitting this information to UNDESA and to TAP is 1 April 2019.

To help us promote TAP Partners and Members as speakers and participants for this Rome SDG16 Conference, we ask that you take the following steps:

1. OFFICIALLY Pre-Register to attend the Rome SDG16 Conference through the UNDESA HLPF Secretariat website here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSetEbuQbTFDcMHpcEAxoYm2xJn8fURv8qsLq2VHpT95OWd8ng/viewform

2. Utilizing the information you provided through the official Pre-Registration form (from above), FILL OUT THIS FORM to register your interest in attending the conference through the TAP Network. While this is not required to be considered for attending the conference, having your information on your pre-registration submission will allow the TAP Network to advocate for the inclusion of all TAP Network Partners and Members for the conference.

DEADLINE for submission: 1st April 2019

Note: While it is not required to be a TAP Network Partner to submit your interest, TAP Network Partners will be prioritized for TAP to provide recommendations to relevant UN agencies for attending this conference, given TAP's ongoing work to promote the work of TAP Partners' "commitments" - both at the Rome SDG16 Conference, and beyond. Therefore, if your organization is not currently a TAP Network Partner, WE SHOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU APPLY TO BECOME A TAP NETWORK PARTNER ASAP HERE: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/become-TAP-partner

PLEASE NOTE: By filling out this form, it does not guarantee that you or your organization will receive an invitation to attend the Rome SDG16 Conference. Given that UNDESA and the hosts of the conference, in consultation with UN Agencies, will have final say on invitations and speaker selections, we cannot ensure that everyone who submits their information to us will receive an invitation. However, we will provide all of this information to the organizers of the conference and work closely with our UN partners to ensure as broad of representation as possible from TAP Partners and Members at the conference.

Is your organization a TAP Network Partner or Member?
The TAP Network’s engagement structures are broken down into two main categories: “Partners” and “Members,” with each enjoying very different sets of privileges and benefits. Find out more about TAP's Engagement Structures, including Partners and Members at www.tapnetwork2030.org/join

TAP Network “Partners” are organizations that take part in the substantive work of the TAP Network, and make explicit commitments to implementing SDG16 or towards accountability for the 2030 Agenda. In exchange for making these commitments, “Partners” enjoy an exclusive set of benefits and privileges, and can benefit from direct support from the TAP Network - both technical and financial.

TAP Network “Members” are organizations that can register to stay up-to-date on TAP’s work and can loosely contribute to taking TAP’s substantive work forward. They are able to share in the information and intel-sharing and general updates that the TAP Network has become known for, and have access to a listserv of hundreds of experts on SDG16 and the 2030 Agenda.
