FOOD VENDOR INFORMATION

  • Booth Specifications: The food vendor area will be located on the south side of the blocked parking area just to the north of the Grandstand building. This zone will be laid out in advance (see map). The size of food vendor spaces is negotiable. Please indicate the size of your set-up or trailer on this application. Each vendor must provide their own display equipment and is responsible for setting up and cleaning up of their booth space at the end of the event. Only tape and string weights may be used. Food vendors will be set up on the asphalt portion of the parking lot. All materials used to secure your tent/booth must be within your allotted booth space area. Vendors should be prepared to put up their own sunshade, wind & rain protection and should be prepared for possible adverse weather conditions. Electricity availability is limited. Only Full-Service food vendors will be prioritized for access to electricity, but all may not be accommodated. Access to electricity will be confirmed with notice of vendor selection. Please be prepared if electricity is unavailable for use.
  • Booth Information: Craig Parks & Recreation strives to equitably select vendors with minimal duplication. Vendors will be selected based on the number of applicants that apply to the event, types of food they are selling, and if they meet all the requirements set forth in this application. Security will be on site to monitor the campus day and night along with additional periodic monitoring by deputies of the Moffat County Sheriff and Craig Police Departments. Vendor applications are due on Friday, March 20. Late applications are placed on a waiting list with no guarantee of acceptance. Our Full-Service food vendor fee is $200 and our Limited-Service food vendor fee is $100. Limited-Service food vendor is for those vendors selling no more than two items. Please do not send payment with your application. You will receive notification by email when your application has been received. Further notification will be sent by email once vendor selection and non-selection has taken place.
  • Selling Times: Our event has no set beginning or end times. Therefore, event staff do not dictate hours of operation for the sale of merchandise. Vendors decide when to open, when to close and when to leave the event. Typically, high foot traffic starts Friday afternoon/evening and continues all day on Saturday. In the coming months, a schedule of events will be posted on our website at www.whittlethewood.com/schedule_of_events
