When considering the option of an In-District Transfer, families need to consider that transportation is not guaranteed. A request for transportation from an established bus stop for the school may be made in writing and submitted to the Superintendent once notification of acceptance has been received. Approval by the Superintendent for transportation is dependent upon seat availability for the requested bus. Seat availability may not be known until after the start of the school year and the number of open seats can be confirmed.
In-District Transfer requests are reviewed annually in April. Notification of acceptance can be expected by the beginning of May.
Final approval of all in-district transfer and transportation requests rests with the Superintendent of Schools.
