The BP Student Ideas Competition at the Chicago Architecture Biennial
The BP Student Ideas Competition at the Chicago Architecture Biennial invites young people in grades 7 through 12 to consider how design can play a role in creating shared spaces and improving communities. Winners of the juried competition will receive cash prizes (up to $500), internship opportunities, and additional prizes. They will be honored in a ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center and their work displayed as part of the 2019 Biennial. The competition welcomes submissions that explore ideas about architecture and the built environment from a wide range of disciplines including design but also the humanities, visual and performing arts, and STEM fields.
