Level 2 Offenses, which occur on school grounds, will be referred to the Metcalf office to be handled by administration. Level 2 offenses are considered to be more serious than Level 1 offenses. Depending on the severity of the offense, some Level 2 offenses may be classified and treated as Level 3 offenses.

As a general rule, Level 2 offenses will result in the sequence of consequences outlined in the Metcalf Handbook (p 27-28). However, school administrators have the authority to use their discretion in giving appropriate consequences, responding at any step in the Level 1 or Level 2 sequence based on the circumstances and the actions of the student(s) involved. In some cases, additional consequences may be given. Discipline Records or record relating to University Policy Violations issued in the 7th and 8th grade are considered part of the U-High admissions process.
