This project of the Pennsylvania Farmers Union (PFU) is part of the Local Food Safety Collaborative, an initiative to provide training and assistance to producers serving local markets.

PFU seeks to enhance food safety knowledge and support for urban and suburban producers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, DC and surrounding areas.

This survey gathers input from growers like you with the intention to support you through day-to-day challenges regarding food safety and farming practices. Using this information, we hope to bring together growers to attend virtual clinics on food safety topics that are useful to you.

We're collecting information in three areas:
• Section 1 - Contact preference and demographics
• Section 2 - Your farm, organization, business, or garden
• Section 3 - Familiarity with issues in food safety

The survey should take about five minutes to complete. Your responses will only be used by the organizers – PFU and our partners with Chesapeake Harvest Produce Safety Educators Project – to help identify how to best serve your food safety needs. We will never share your responses with other outside organizations.
