2019 Commission on Technology Call for Proposals
Do you have a valuable experience or a proven strategy that could be shared with your colleagues? The CCCU is seeking presenter proposals for the Commission on Technology Conference on June 4-6, 2019. We are looking for speakers who can share effective practices and successful strategies that can be implemented by participants to solve real life challenges on their campuses. Each of these sessions will be 45 minutes in length (including Q&A).

Please consider proposing a presentation in one of the following areas:

Academic Technologies: Tell us about an academic technology you have implemented or are exploring on your campus. What problem are you trying to solve? How would this technology help with solving the problem? What steps have you taken to explore or deploy the technology? Describe the cost impact of the project. How are you measuring your success? What have you learned through your experience? What could others learn through your experience?

IT Service and Support: Tell us about something you are doing that has improved the quality of service and support you are providing to your customers. What worked well? What could have been done better? How are you measuring your success? What have you learned through your experience? What could others learn through your experience?

Leadership: Tell us about a change you have led on your campus. Changes can impact your campus as a whole; the staff who report to you; or those who you influence without formally managing. What worked well? What could have been done better? What have you learned through your experience? What could others learn through your experience?

Information Security & Compliance: Tell us how you are addressing an information security and compliance issue(s) on your campus. What worked well? What could have been done better? How are you measuring your success? What have you learned through your experience? What could others learn through your experience?

Evolving Infrastructure, Integration, and Enterprise IT: Tell us how you are improving services to your campus community by adopting new infrastructure, integration, and enterprise IT solutions. What problem are you trying to solve? What worked well? What could have been done better? How are you measuring your success? What have you learned through your experience? What could others learn through your experience?

Proposals that feature unique ideas and use multi-faceted approaches will be best suited for these sessions and favored by the Session Selection Committee. We encourage you to collaborate with colleagues from other institutions as you develop your proposals.
