Justice Captain Training Session
This form is for people who either: 
  • already know they support the Invest in MI Kids and Michiganders for Money Out of Politics ballot initiatives from the Michigan for the Many campaign and are ready to be trained for signature collection, or 
  • already attended a Justice Captain Info Session on Zoom and wish to move forward with training.  
If you have not completed an info session but want to so you can learn more about the campaign before getting trained in signature collection, please sign up for one here.

We are thrilled that you have decided to join UCC and the Michigan for the Many campaign as a volunteer signature collector, or Justice Captain.  As we shared at the info session, we want to get as many folks trained now as possible so that we can hit the ground running with signature collection in June.  Training sessions will be in-person at UCC (413 Hall St SE, Suite 1), and we will feed you!  

*NOTE* If you don't have time or capacity to come to UCC to be trained, please visit the Invest in MI Kids volunteer hub and follow steps 1 and 2 for a 10-minute virtual training on signature collection (and note UCC as the organization in the form for step 1).  The virtual training will be less comprehensive than the UCC version, but when you pick up petitions, you will get an info sheet with additional information about the ballots.

Kids are welcome if their presence makes your attendance at training possible.  We have a small play area, as well as side rooms where kids can hang.  Feel free to bring them a tablet or other activities to keep them busy.
