Waiver and Disclaimer Form for Horse Riders, Handlers, Clients, and Visitors

I, the undersigned, acknowledge and understand that activities involving horses, including but not limited to riding, handling, and being around horses, carry inherent risks. These risks include but are not limited to:

  • The unpredictable behavior of horses, such as bucking, kicking, biting, or spooking.
  • Risks associated with outdoor environments, including uneven terrain, weather conditions, and natural obstacles.
  • Risks of injury or harm caused by equipment failure or improper use of equipment.

I voluntarily choose to participate in activities involving horses, fully aware of these risks.


2. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Cortijo La Presa, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, damage, or loss that may occur while participating in horse-related activities.

This release applies to all claims, including those caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Assumption of Responsibility
I agree to take full responsibility for my actions and behavior while participating in horse-related activities. I understand that I am responsible for ensuring my own safety and the safety of others to the best of my ability.

4. Medical Emergency
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Cortijo La Presa to seek medical assistance on my behalf if I am unable to do so. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.

5. Agreement to Follow Rules
I agree to follow all rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by Cortijo La Presa and its representatives. Failure to comply may result in the termination of my participation without any refund or compensation.

6. Minors
For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver on their behalf.

7. Governing Law
This waiver and disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved within this jurisdiction.
