If you have left the lab for a different career path (e.g., nursing, physician assistant, physician, software engineering), I'm not sure if that information will be helpful here, but will leave that up to you to decide. :) Ultimately, this is about empowering techs and recognizing the disparity in pay. Salary should not be taboo!
