Call for Presentations
The Guild of Carillonneurs in North America invites you to submit presentation proposals for our annual congress and/or our ongoing year-round webinar series.
The congress host and the Congress Planning Subcommittee of the GCNA Board will work together to select webinars and congress presentations.
***
GCNA/WCF VIRTUAL CONGRESS IN JUNE 2021:
Topics related to the Congress theme, "Broadening our Repertoire: Carillon Music for Everyone", will be given priority.
Proposal submission deadline for Congress 2021 is March 15.
***
YEAR-ROUND GCNA WEBINAR SERIES:
Proposal submission deadlines: May 1 for Fall webinars; August 1 for Winter webinars.
Preparation: Selected presenters should plan to have their materials (slides, audio, video) ready at least one month before their presentation date.
Student Submissions: Students are very welcome to propose presentations. (Examples: term papers on carillon-related musicological topics, ACE history assignments if you chose to conduct original research beyond the basic requirements, etc.)
Anyone may use this form to submit a presentation proposal. You may submit multiple proposals for different ideas, but please submit a different form for each proposal.
Note: The GCNA is a non-profit corporation organized for charitable and educational purposes. Presentations must not have the predominant purpose of promoting private interests or advertising commercial products or services. If you are unsure whether the content of your proposed presentation is suitable, please contact us to discuss.
