Battle of the Bands- Band Entry Form - 2017
Helloooo Local Bands,

We are trying something different this year for the finale of the CFCU Summer Concert Series. We'd love to have you give it a shot.


WHAT IS THIS BATTLE?
Well, it's two-fold. On Thursday, September 7th from 6-9pm we will host a Battle of the Bands where three finalist bands will perform 30 minute sets. Right here, right now, if you apply, a jury will select two finalists. The third finalist will be a People's Choice selection off the current summer lineup. That being said, STOP: If you are an MC you should go here because we are hosting a competition for you as well: https://goo.gl/forms/dCBqGmwS9kMlvwlA2 and if you are a band on the current concert series lineup, you should not fill this out. We will reach out separately.

We are currently working really hard to create really special prize packages for both the winning band and winning MC to empower you to continue pursuing your craft.

Fill out the application below and share your best with us. We will take it from there and reach out once we have identified the finalists. The deadline for this application is Thursday August, 10th.

GOT IT. HOW WILL THE BATTLE WORK?
Good question. The winning MC will open the night up on September 7th. The three band finalists will perform 20 minute sets. There will be an expert panel of judges present which will be announced along with the criteria at a later date.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
We thought this would be a fun way to not only engage our audiences but also create new fun opportunities for local artists. Emphasis on fun. We want this be an exciting way to highlight local talent and also have you walk away with good content and tools to use for your endeavors.
