TRBA Help Line Volunteers
TRBA has established two "help lines." One will operate 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with messages being left after hours - the requests for assistance line. The second is a prayer line that we would love to be operational 24/7, but we know it will not start out that way. If you will complete the following form, we will get back to you within a day to so and provide details.
Name as it appears on your driver's license or identification card.
Date of Birth -- Please Note: We will do a simple, public records check to insure there are no flagrant charges that would be cause for concern.
Mobile Phone: We will primarily use mobile and email to communicate with you. This will include texting.
This volunteer opportunity will be "remote." During the time that you are assigned to "man the phone," the help line will be programed to ring at a phone you designate. If your mobile phone is not the device you wish to use for this purpose, please list the phone you wish us to use below.
If the email address you want us to use in correspondence is different than the one you used for this form, please list below.
Please list the name of your church as well as the name and contact information of your pastor in the space below.
In the space below, please give a brief testimony of your conversion to the christian faith. Include a description of your current walk with Christ, as well as your passion for praying for and reaching out to help others.
Which help line do you feel most confident about doing? Check the one you feel most led to be a part of?
General Information: Answering the main line and answering questions about the ministry and contact information. People on this line may want to pray, and we should offer to pray with all called that have been impacted greatly during the pandemic.
Food and medical assistance: Our crisis response team has determined our two areas of concern will be Food Distribution and Medical assistance. This could take multiple paths, hut this is new territory for all!
The third extension is for those that have needs other than food and meds. Instead of them being frustrated and calling around, we will build a referral list and connect them with someone that can help them.
