Last Day to Add a Credit-Bearing Course(Level change requests have different deadlines)
1st Semester: Monday, August 21st, 3:00 PM (Deadline passed for first semester)
2nd Semester: Thursday, January 8th, 3:00 PM
After the ADD deadline only a non credit bearing course can be added, i.e. study hall, office worker, peer collaborator
Schedule Changes May Occur If: - There are scheduling conflicts.
- The course level is inappropriate based on prerequisites.
- A senior needs credits for graduation.
- There is an error (e.g., missing mod).
- A summer school course has been successfully completed.
Reasons a Change May Not Be Processed: - The course is at capacity.
- The course does not fit in the student’s schedule.
- The reason for the change is not acceptable (e.g., lunch change, friend requests, teacher change).
CCP Considerations- Add/drop dates for College Credit Plus (CCP) courses align with the academic calendar of the respective college/university. Check the college/university websites for these dates.
- After the first 10 days, families are responsible for tuition, fees, and textbooks if dropping a course.
- For courses taken outside Emerald Campus, students must complete a separate drop form with the respective college/university and contact their college academic advisor.
