2019 MOACAC Inclusion Conference Student Application - Lincoln University
What is it?

The Inclusion Conference is a FREE, one-day conference for rising junior and senior high school students. The conference will serve Missouri students, alternating locations each year. The conference aims to provide students with the tools for personal and professional growth, in order to empower them to achieve personal and academic success and pursue higher education.

When and where is it?

The Inclusion Conference will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Lincoln University's Scruggs University Center, located at 819 Chestnut Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Free parking is available in the Collier-Hatcher parking lot, located at the intersection of Dawson and Chestnut streets. What does it include?

The conference will feature workshops led by higher-education professionals, including sessions on personal empowerment and success strategies, as well as tools for academic achievement. There will also be a campus tour of our host campus and mini-presentations from admission counselors, representing a variety of post-secondary institutions. We will be offering an information session for parents, as well. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

What are the requirements to apply?

Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average to be eligible for the conference. Although priority will be given to students from under-served areas, ethnic and socioeconomic student populations, all students who are interested and may benefit from the program are encouraged to apply.

How do I apply?

After completing this application, students must complete a set of liability waivers. Waiver forms may be directly submitted via email to MOACACinclusion@gmail.com. We ask that you submit the student application and waivers by the deadline listed below. Please be sure to thoroughly complete all required documents.

NOTE: Transportation is not provided, but if you are in need of financial assistance to afford transportation costs, please let us know!

THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MAY 31ST. REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED AND WILL BE CAPPED AT 50 STUDENTS.
