Dickinson Museum Center Teacher Survey, Fall 2016
The Dickinson Museum Center is currently working on revamping its exhibits and educational programming. Previously two separate museums, they have now been joined and both are operated by the City of Dickinson. The Joachim Museum has begun installing their new permanent exhibit. The focus of this exhibit is on the people and history of the Dickinson area and is being set up in a timeline format. The timeline begins with a small section on the First People starting in 11,000 BP and then goes into the more recent history from 1880-1979 which is broken up into sections by decade. The Natural History Museum has a large collection of minerals, gems, fossils, and dinosaur specimens. There are plans to update the collection’s layout and displays beginning in 2017 as everything is the same as it was when it was under private ownership until March of this year.

We would like to invite local teachers to provide some input on our educational programming. Please fill out this survey so we can better understand what you would like us to provide for class field trips.
