The WeLead: Diversity Matters Student Leadership Symposium aims to demonstrate how diversity and inclusion is at the core of effective leadership, practice and service. WeLead aims to directly influence leadership development with teams and other individuals as the focus. WeLead is designed with an emphasis in developing high-impact skills through cultural competence, diversity, inclusion, self-empowerment and leading through the social change model. WeLead is FREE for FAU students and includes popular keynote speakers and breakout sessions.
For the 4th Annual WeLead Symposium, we are offering a unique opportunity for interested presenters to facilitate a break out session. These sessions should be in an area of interest that relate to the topics/themes that have been recommended for this year's WeLead.
Interested presenters will need to submit the information below by Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. for priority consideration to present a breakout session. Submissions will be reviewed by the WeLead Planning Committee. Notifications of acceptance will be contacted during the first week of December.
It is important to know that after submitting your form, the WeLead Planning Committee may be contacting you for a one-on-one meeting to further discuss your session and message. If selected, you will meet with the WeLead Planning Team at least one time prior to WeLead for consultation and review of your material.
Questions can be directed to a WeLead Planning Committee member via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (561) 297-3607.
Thank you in advance for your submission.
We look forward to hearing from you!
