APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: FRIDAY APRIL 3RD @ 11:59 PM
The USC
Center for the Political Future is excited to host its annual Young Women’s Leadership Conference (YWLC) on
Saturday, April 4 from 9:30AM to 4PM PT at Tommy's Place on the USC Campus. This conference brings together high school students from the Southern California area to hone their leadership skills and encourage their involvement in public service. Students will participate in skills-building workshops and discussions, meet and hear from influential women, and learn valuable communication and relationship-building skills.
Held each year during Women’s History Month, this conference has helped hundreds of students become more civically engaged. Some program participants have gone on to work in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the offices of local, state, and federal elected officials. The conference is free and open to all high school students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This event is in partnership with USC's
Joint Educational Project, USC Political Student Assembly, Trojan Democrats, USC College Republicans, Pi Sigma Alpha, and USC Political Union.
