"Innovation in Teaching Artistry Award" - an early to mid-career teaching artist making innovative and powerful contributions to the field of teaching artistry.
"Teaching Artist Ally Award" - a professional integral to the work of teaching artists, but not a teaching artist themselves, who has demonstrated commitment and support to TAs. This could be a partner classroom teacher, principal, Arts Council member, arts administrator, or other.
Teaching artists of any artistic discipline are eligible for consideration. There is no limit to the number of nominations you can submit, however you cannot submit multiple nominations for the same individual. Nominations will be accepted from March 18, 2019 - April 8, 2019. Winners will be notified by April 23, 2019. The ATA Awards Event will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at the New School in New York City. Attendance at the event, while not mandatory, is highly encouraged.
